Why I coach—what it means to me

I see my role as a coach as a privilege.  I take great pride in creating a safe, non-judgmental space for others to be who they are and who they want to be.  It is in this space that trust is formed and where I can help others make transformative change. The coaching relationship is a shared one and has a powerful impact on one’s life.

ABOUT ME

I am a certified co-active coach with training through Coaches Training Institute. I received my BA in Human Services at UMass, Amherst and MEd at Lesley University. Earlier, I spent 20 years as a teacher, residential counselor, executive function tutor, and entrepreneur focused on working with students and adults around transitions. Personally, I am a wife, as well as a mother of a teenage girl. When I am not coaching, I enjoy spending time with my family at the beach, playing board games, and hosting friends and family at our home. I love soccer—coaching my daughter’s team and playing on a team myself.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

I offer coaching in person, by phone, and through video—whatever works best. Typically, I coach clients twice a month.  I am always willing to tailor a package to your specific needs.
